   How much longer do we have to wait for 2.0? I am getting anxious for it to me transfered to my new phone?

     Hi Kristine – sorry for the delay in responding to this comment, somehow it was classified as spam. We encountered some significant technical challenges, but those have now been overcome. We are tracking toward a February release of version 2.0 with synchronization and backup capabilities. Thank you for your patience!

   Searching for a meal planning, shopping, recipe app today and came across several. I wanted to use spinning meals but the inability to sync across devices and use the website for entry as well kept me from purchasing spinning meals. In this tech time there isn’t a reason to use an app that won’t sync across devices and allow management via a website as well. Also, who wants to hold onto their old phone when it is usually worth $200+ to trade in towards a new one? Hopefully someday I can revisit and use this app. I like the concept…but I want to meal plan on my computer website, use the app for shopping and share it with my android using SO in case he’s the one at the grocery store.

     Hi Amber, I’m very sorry the app didn’t work out for you, in terms of meeting the critical needs you expressed, at the current time. We encountered some additional technical challenges which complicate the cross-device synchronization, but now believe we are just a month away from releasing the new capabilities to production. Android and web-entry are future capabilities we also wish to enable but can’t completely commit to at this point.

   Any updates on the 2.0 release? I had to get a new phone in February and unfortunately the backup was corrupted so all the recipes I entered (50+ typed in manually) are stuck on my old phone. I miss using the app but it’s useless without all my recipes and after the hours I spent already I can’t justify doing it all over again. Especially with a 4 and almost 2 year old to watch too. Please tell me it’s coming soon!!!

     Hi Lara – we have been stalled for a time, but are not too far away from making this a reality. Please stay tuned. We understand how important this is, particularly to those like you who have spent time collecting recipes and building up a great rotation of meals for your family.    After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked
   the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a
   comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment.
   Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service?
